The Clermont London, Charing Cross Hotel

The Clermont London, Charing Cross was a perfect choice for our family trip to London. The location couldn't have been better for us - minutes away from Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, theaters, and a variety of restaurants. Plus, the fact that children 12 years and younger could stay for free in existing bedding was a huge bonus for our large family. This made our stay both convenient and budget-friendly, allowing us to fully enjoy our time in London without any hassle.

My kids wished for a dedicated play area or activities for children within the hotel.

As women traveling alone, we appreciated the great reception staff and easy check-in process. All the staff we encountered were fantastic. The restaurant staff at breakfast were kind, professional, and welcoming. The rooms were clean and spacious, with all the necessary amenities. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel's location near the tube station and plenty of restaurants and bars made it convenient for exploring Covent Garden and other London sites. Plus, the complimentary beverages and snacks in the room, along with the coffee machine, were a nice touch.

The hotel has a convenient location with easy access to trains or the tube and various eateries nearby. The staff is helpful and accommodating, and the lobby is stunning. the breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from.

Some rooms may experience noise from bars or clubs nearby, especially on certain nights of the week, which can be disruptive to some guests.

Grand Victorian staircase which rises up all six floors of the main building: As I ascended the staircase, I felt like I was about to enter a grand ball, not just my room. The atmosphere was regal, and I half-expected to see Cinderella making her entrance.

Breakfast has become of really poor standard.

It had a fantastic location near many tourist locations and was very close to the transportation. The hotel facilities were great and the staff was always there to help with everything we needed. We also enjoyed the complimentary beverage and the breakfast, abundant and delicious. Lastly, the cleanliness of the rooms was really good.

Nothing all good.

This place is incredibly convenient for transportation, being located directly next to a busy train and underground station. The service here is amazing, with staff providing us with a welcome drink and being incredibly helpful with room service, laundry, and wake-up calls. The amenities in our room were top-notch, with everything we needed including air conditioning, an in-room safe, and a separate tub and shower. The staff who served us breakfast managed a very busy service with composure and a friendly manner, which made us feel very comfortable.

Would recommend this hotel to friends and would definitely stay here again.

Conveniently located near a bustling area, roomy and tidy rooms with powerful showers, pleasant and courteous personnel, well-kept breakfast room with a good range of high-quality food, and nice touches like the free mini-bar.

I recently stayed at The Clermont in Charing Cross for a few nights while exploring the city. The location couldn't have been better, just a short walk from Trafalgar Square and right near the train station. The hotel itself was beautiful and clean, and we were even upgraded to a junior suite. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the price was reasonable. I also appreciated the complimentary mini bar and free drinks tokens for the hotel bar. a great experience and I would definitely return.

Perfect location, close to major attractions and transport links. Amazing staff, friendly and cute. Spacious and modern rooms with complimentary minibar and cake and fizz for special occasions.

The mince pies were excellent during our Festive Afternoon Tea, and the staff catered to our dietary restrictions with care. The location was unbeatable, and the room was clean and well-equipped despite some noise at night.
